BIOGRAPHY

Thank you for visiting my website! I discovered my passion for music at the age of 6. Growing up in the late 80s and 90s, aside from classical music, my biggest inspiration came from film composer giants like James Horner, James Newton Howard, Philip Glass, Thomas Newman, John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Rachel Portman, Michael Nyman, Hans Zimmer to name a few. I believe I have a (hopefully) unique and versatile style ranging from full orchestral to minimalist and experimental. I often combine acoustic live instruments with synths, sound design, ethnic flavors and vocals (usually performed by my long time friend and vocalist Mikolt Gyuricza, SuzyH and I provide the deep throaty male vocals myself). If I had to pick my main instrument, it would be the piano, I just love to compose with / for it. I think my strongest skill as an artist is the ability to invoke deep / dramatic and oftentimes sad emotions through music, always aiming to write memorable themes. I am completely self taught in composition, orchestration and production and while I don’t consider myself a professional pianist by any means, I always perform the piano parts myself in my music.

My works have been featured on television worldwide and I also compose orchestral cues for top trailer music labels like ‘Audiomachine’ and ‘Eternal Eclipse’, with many of my tracks being used in major Hollywood film campaigns by clients like Disney, Marvel, 20th Century Fox, Netflix, Lionsgate Films, Summit Entertainement, Fox Searchlight Pictures, Warner Bros. and movies including ‘Dune’, ‘Avengers: Endgame’, ‘Alita: Battle Angel’, ‘Christopher Robin’, ‘Brooklyn’, ‘The Witcher’, ‘Little Women’, ‘The OA: Part II’ and more. I’ve composed original music for the hit MOBA game ‘Heroes of Newerth’ by S2 Games, ‘Lornsword Winter Chronicle’ by Tower Five (Ps4, X-box, PC) and more recently for ‘Throne and Liberty’ by NCSOFT.

I have had the honor of having my music performed and recorded by many renown ensembles, including London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonia Orchestra at the legendary Abbey Road Studios & AIR Studios, Capellen Orchestra & Choir in Prague and Sofia Session Orchestra & Choir in Bulgaria.

On a more personal note: I love to compose music for all types of visual media that requires deep emotions. My all time favourite director / composer relationship is M. Night Shyamalan and James Newton Howard (‘Lady in the Water’ being my #1), I absolutely adore what they have achieved together, their collaboration had a huge impact on my youth and on my musical path. I also love grand movies / lush scores like ‘The Lord of the Rings’, ‘Braveheart’, ‘Gladiator’, minimalist dramas like ‘The Hours’, ‘The Lovely Bones’, ‘Marvin’s Room’, ‘Amercian Beauty’, ‘The Truman Show’, experimental works like ‘Koyaanisqatsi’, ‘Requiem for a Dream’, beautiful documentaries from David Attenborough and the likes, dramatic animations like ‘Up’, ‘Inside Out’, ‘Soul’, ‘The Prince of Egypt’ and jaw-dropping video games like ‘The Last of Us Part I & II’, ‘Heavy Rain’, ‘Horizon Zero Dawn’ and basically anything from Hideo Kojima. The most important aspect for me is the emotional / dramatic weight the music can evoke complimenting the Story, no matter what the genre or the subject of the project is. If there is depth, meaning and drama, I’ll be inspired without limits. My lifetime dream goal is to have the privilege to work alongside amazing people on similarly impactful projects.
